HIGH RISK TRAINING
Carbine I - Beginner:
This is an entry level course for novice carbine shooters designed for those who have not had any formal instruction. This course will take you through the basics of carbine manipulation and proper shooting techniques.
Course Objectives:
• Safety
• Grip
• Stance
• Sight alignment
• Trigger control
• Recoil control
• Zero
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Carbine in 5.56, 5.45 X 39, .308 or pistol caliber
• Spare/Backup Carbine
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 500 rounds of factory ammo (No reloads)
• Appropriate foot wear and clothing for season/weather
• Weapon tools, lube and cleaning kit
• Water Hydration

Carbine II – Introductory Level:
This is an introductory level course designed for shooters who have had at least a basic carbine class either from HRT or another accredited instructor. This course will take you through proper weapon manipulations for dynamic situations.
Course Objectives:
• Safety
• Review of Carbine I
• Speed reloads
• Tactical reloads
• Malfunctions
• Shooting on the move
• Primary and support hand shooting
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Carbine in 5.56, 5.45 X 39, .308 or pistol caliber
• Spare/Backup Carbine
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 500 rounds of factory ammo (No reloads)
• Weapon sling
• Appropriate foot wear and clothing for season/weather
• Weapon tools, lube and cleaning kit
• Water Hydration

Carbine III – Intermediate Level:
This is an intermediate level course designed for shooters who have had at least an introductory level carbine class either from HRT or another accredited instructor. This course expands the tactical scenarios you may encounter to progressively more difficult situations, further honing your skills, instincts and ability to react to complex conditions.
Course Objectives:
• Safety
• Review of Carbine II
• Shooting on the move
• Multiple target engagement
• Improvised shooting positions
• Barricade shooting
• Weapon transitions
• Individual stress course
• Skills drill
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Carbine in 5.56, 5.45 X 39, .308 or pistol caliber
• Spare/Backup Carbine
• Secondary weapon (Handgun in 9mm, .40 caliber or .45ACP)
• Holster and magazine pouch (Must retain equipment)
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 700 rounds of factory ammo (No reloads)
• Weapon sling
• Appropriate foot wear and clothing for season/weather
• Weapon tools, lube and cleaning kit
• Water Hydration

Carbine IV – Advanced Level:
This is an advanced level course designed for shooters who have had at least an intermediate level carbine class either from HRT or another accredited instructor. This course will cover team movement along with individual room clearing and low light techniques.

• Safety
• Review of Carbine III
• Shooting on the move
• Multiple target engagement
• Low Light Tactics
• Team stress course
• Individual stress course
• Room Clearing
• Skills drill
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Carbine in 5.56, 5.45 X 39, .308 or pistol caliber
• Spare/Backup Carbine
• Secondary weapon (Handgun in 9mm, .40 caliber or .45ACP)
• Holster and magazine pouch (Must retain equipment)
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 700 rounds of factory ammo (No reloads)
• Weapon sling
• Appropriate foot wear and clothing for season/weather
• Weapon mounted light or handheld light
• Spare bulbs and batteries
• Weapon tools, lube and cleaning kit
• Water Hydration
