HIGH RISK TRAINING
Pistol 1 - Beginner:
This is an entry level course for novice handgun shooters and is designed for those who have not had any formal instruction. This course will take you through the basics of pistol manipulation and proper shooting techniques.
Course Objectives:
• Safety
• Grip
• Stance
• Sight alignment
• Trigger control
• Draw
• Skills drill
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Handgun in 9mm, .40 ca, or 45 ACP
• Spare/Backup Handgun
• Holster and magazine pouch (Must retain equipment)
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 500 rounds of factory ammo (No reloads)
• Appropriate foot wear and clothing for season/weather
• Weapon tools, lube and cleaning kit
• Water Hydration
• Open Mind

Pistol II – Introductory Level:
This is an introductory level course is designed for shooters who have had at least a basic pistol class either from HRT or another accredited instructor. This course will take you through proper weapon manipulations for dynamic situations
Course Objectives:

• Review of Pistol I
• Speed reloads
• Tactical reloads
• Malfunctions
• Shooting on the move
• Primary and support hand shooting
Student Requirements:
• Eye & Ear protection
• Practical Handgun in 9mm, .40 ca, or 45 ACP
• Spare/Backup Handgun
• Holster and magazine pouch (Must retain equipment)
• Minimum of 3 magazines

• Barricade shooting
• Individual stress course
• Skills drill

• Room Clearing
• Skills drill

• Holster and magazine pouch (Must retain equipment)
