Basic Wilderness Survival:
This basic level survival course will teach students the basics need to survive for short periods of time in the wilderness with just the basics. Becoming lost in the wilderness can be very easy to do, it is what you do after you become lost that gives you the fighting change against nature. You will have hands on practice staying in the wilderness:
Course Objectives:
• Safety
• Confidence
• Fire
• Water
• Shelter
• Food
• Tools
• Signaling for Help
Student Requirements:
• Hiking Shoes
• Appropriate Weather Clothing
HRT will provide all of the survival items needed for the course at the completion of the course a list of provided items and retailers that supply the items will be provided to the students.
